A Message From President Ronnie Jayne

I'll keep this short and sweet -- We're all incredibly busy this time of year! I hope you had a terrific Thanksgiving, and are enjoying a few days of "calm before the storm."

'Tis the season for work and more work, but please take the time to enjoy the company of friends and colleagues at the The Center at Cathedral Plaza on December 8th. This is an amazing setting for our Holiday event!

And please, don't forget to share your good fortune with others. We'll be collecting "Toys For Tots," and I'd love this to be a greatly successful toy drive!

That's it for now. I hope to see you all on December 8th. I'll be bringing my dreidel.

Happy Holidays!

Ronnie Jayne
President, ISES-LA

ISES-LA's Holiday Dinner and Mixer
Wednesday, December 8th from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM
The Center at Cathedral Plaza

You E2 80 99ll love this year E2 80 99s ISES-LA Holiday Dinner at the beautiful and architecturally stunning The Center at Cathedral Plaza, more simply known as The Cathedral. Enjoy special tours of this fabulous facility which was completed in 2002. As the first Roman Catholic cathedral to be erected in the Western United States in 30 years, The Cathedral is a new and vibrant expression of the 21st Century, and reflects the unique diversity of Los Angeles, The City of Angels.

Constructed in such a way as to include almost no right angles, its geometry contributes to The Cathedral E2 80 99s feeling of mystery and its aura of majesty.

Come join us for a sumptuous dinner with wine and song and, as always, the most fun and festive monthly networking opportunity in Los Angeles. Enjoy the wonderous splendor of this holiday season with ISES friends and family. All of us on the board wish all of you and your families every happiness this holiday season and throughout the coming year.

Special thanks to our showcasers: Ron Rubin Events; The Center at Cathedral Plaza; Serious Treble; Whisky Tastings by Ray Pearson; and HM&P Photography.

What Can ISES LA Do for You?

You have made an important and deliberate decision to include ISES LA events in your schedule. We realize we're just a part of a hectic schedule that probably includes many professional and social engagements. Yet, you realize that participation in industry associations can play a key role in growing your business.

Each association in our industry (MPI, NACE, ABC, ISES, etc.) offers a unique benefit to its members - such as community recognition, a chance to interact with potential customers, networking with peers, or professional growth through education. Identify the strength to help make the most of your time.

ISES LA is a great place to network with peers. But it's not just about enjoying the company of those who share your experience. Peers are the BEST source for business-to-business referrals. In fact, ISES LA members can track many of their jobs and clients to an associate met at an ISES event. As a group, we also excel at collaboration. Ask around and you'll find multiple ISES LA associates that work on the same event. Do you need helping finding a service or product source? ISES LA members are also very generous with their Rolodex C2 AE. If they can't provide it, they are happy to help you find a reliable vendor. You can trust an ISES LA referral will reflect well on you. You may also receive B2B discounts. There are some listed in the Directory, with more to come!

You may not meet your next customer at an ISES event, but you might just make the contact that gets you in the door.

Need proof? We are compiling testimonials of ISES LA members that have collaborated with other members, referred or received business as a result of participation in ISES LA events. If you would like your story included, e-mail viamuse@earthlink.net. To receive your copy, e-mail info@ises-la.com, and note B2B in the subject line.
